Homemade muesli: little ideas for an energetic breakfast

Synonymous with a balanced breakfast full of energy, muesli is now available for all tastes and all sauces. So if you have no idea how to prepare it well, here are some small recipe ideas.

The basics of a good muesli

To make a good muesli, you start with the basics. And the first are the oatmeal and preferably organic. Very rich in fiber and minerals, they will provide you with the necessary proteins for the rest of the day. Then add oilseeds based on cashews, coconuts, walnuts, almonds or even hazelnuts. Here, we play with our tastes and desires because anyway, they are packed with vitamins and antioxidants. To complete this set, small seeds such as sesame, flax seeds or squash seeds are added. Finally, we move on to dried fruit for a little sweet taste with apple, banana, grapes or even apricots. Everything obviously depends on the season and the mood of the day.

A little recipe idea

Depending on all these ingredients, it is therefore possible to be able to prepare your homemade muesli. And if you still don't have an idea, here's a little tip for a tasty and ideal recipe for winter. For a good start, we gather 200 g of organic oat flakes with 50 g of almonds, nuts and hazelnuts and 50 g of flax seeds and chia. In addition, 40 g of maple syrup and 2 cl of water are prepared. Then, heat the oven to 160 ° and mix the flakes, almonds and seeds in a separate jar. In parallel, we prepare a small saucepan in which we bring the maple syrup to a boil with a little water. Then, we integrate the muesli inside and mix well. Finally, we put everything on baking paper for 25 minutes. Good tasting !
